The Canberra International Music Festival has achieved a national reputation for presenting an art music program which is both highly innovative and of exceptional quality. While the Festival’s early focus was on chamber music, and it remains true to its core, its scope has broadened to include classical, jazz and contemporary art and music. Performances are largely acoustic and emphasis is placed on finding intimate venues with exceptional acoustics.
We worked with CIMF to develop an exciting contemporary design with timeless appeal and an element of surprise across all design elements for the 2019 festival.
CIMF have strong branding guidelines that shape their visual identity however creativity and innovation lie at the heart of their artistic practice and this applies to the graphic design.
